Mindfulness is paying attention to the present moment with kindness.
That’s what I write about.
I like to make thoughtful choices about what goes into our home and our lives, our hearts, minds and bellies. I firmly believe that health and happiness are dependent upon it.
Relax. It’s not all meditation and serious contemplation … sometimes I’ll write about the Target dollar aisle. Because things like that make me happy, too.
And happy = wholeness.
Thank you for being here. I’d love to hear what makes you happy and whole.
Want to know more? Here’s me in a nutshell.
Homemaker: There are two little girls and one amazing man under my roof. I don’t love laundry, but I do love everything else that goes into keeping a home for my people.
Kitchen dweller: This is where I spend a lot of time preparing food and experimenting with new recipes. I eat autoimmune paleo. My family doesn’t always. I’ll share how I bridge that gap.
Health-seeker: Functional Medicine has changed my life. Crohn’s Disease and Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis are two autoimmune illnesses that I’m learning to manage.
Mountain girl: I moved to Colorado for the mountains. Running, snowboarding and being outside make me feel most whole. I’ll always be a Midwest girl at heart though.
Book worm: I love books, especially true ones. I read cookbooks in bed like novels. Did I mention that I love books?
